Moore -- Elizabeth Moore, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Monday, April 1, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Byrel A. Moore; son, Darrell E. Moore, both of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Jonathon Byrel Moore and Sarah Meyer, both of Phoenix, AZ; and brother, Austin Albert of Aztec, NM. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her two brothers; and one sister. She was born and raised in Roswell and graduated from Roswell High School in 1936. Mrs. Moore worked as a beautician in both Roswell and Albuquerque. In 1947 and 1948 she won second place in State Hair Dressers Association competition and retiring in 1951. Graveside services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 8100 Mountain Rd. NE, Suite 102, 87110. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
