Canham -- Grace A. Canham, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 67 years, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bachar and husband, Jim of Belen; sons, John F. Canham, Jr. and wife, Fran of Tijeras and Steve Canham and wife, Katherine of Lexington, KY; 11 grandchildren, Richard, Debbie, Steven, Jason, Christian, Kerri, Tracy, Stephanie, Matthew, Orrie and Haley; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Young and wife, Frances of Niles, IL and William Young and wife, Ann of Albuquerque; sister, Jane Hutton of Denton, TX; and sister-in-law, Herminia Canham of El Paso, TX. Mrs. Canham was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Canham, Sr. She was born in Chicago on the 20th day of November 1912 to parents, Miles Young and Grace Emaline. Mrs. Canham was joined in wedlock on February 16th, 1934. She was a homemaker and enjoyed dining out, movies, traveling as well as quality time with her many grandchildren. Mrs. Canham was a beautiful person who will be sorely missed. Services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Meanul NE. Pallbearers will be Richard Bachar, Steven Bachar, Kelly Kelson, Karl Culler, Jason Canham and Christian Canham. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch, 6209 Hendrix NE, 87110.
