Baca -- Mr. Orlando Baca died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 64. Mr. Baca was a member of the DAV Chapter 3. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Lupe Baca; daughter, Gloria Baca; son, Orlando Baca Jr. and wife, Diane; daughter, Tamara Poynter; son, Daniel Baca; grandchildren, Lilly Baca, Orlando Baca III and fiancée, Lucy Parra, Derek Poynter and Bettina Baca; great-grandchild, Santiago Williams; brother, Luis Campos; and sisters, Mela Gurule, Martha Zamora and husband, Joe, Lucille Martinez and husband, Modesto, and Kathy Olguin and husband, Ernest and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Baca will be held on Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Orlando Baca III, Derek Poynter, Larry Williams, David Quintana, Joseph Zamora and Robert Gurule. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vicente De La Cruz, Sammy Duran, Bobby Luna, Ignacio Molina, Rosario"JR" Valdez and Tony Romo. Visitation for Mr. Baca will be held on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Salazar & Sons Mortuary Chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
