Arellano -- David E. Arellano, age 40, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, Wednesday, April 3, 2002. David was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque; he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting; and especially listening to music, his favorite group being the Beatles. David was full of life but having an addiction stopped his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evangeline; and a brother, Anthony. He leaves his loving family, his father, Abedon Arellano; two sisters, Dolores and Annabelle; and one brother, Ray Arellano. Also surviving are two aunts, Ida Sais and Matilde Armijo; an uncle, Abencio Casaus; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. David will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Visitations will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM. Interment will follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Anthony Padilla, Michael Padilla, Paul Padilla, Ray Arellano, Jr., Jonathan Garcia and Christopher Garcia. Honorary bearers will be Consuelo Padilla, Noel Arellano, Jennifer Garcia, and Isaac Arellano. Funeral Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street, NW, 898-3160.
