Wadriski -- Helena G. Wadriski, 67, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend was called home to dance with the Lord our Savior on Thursday, April 11, 2002. Her husband, John E. Wadriski preceded her into eternal life. Helena is survived by her five children, Helena Sanchez, Pam Beck and husband, Fred, John A. Wadriski and wife, Alice, Laura Shannon and husband, Ed, James Wadriski and wife, Barbara; two brothers, George Hossann and Dennis Hossann; and two sisters, Marie Davis and Cecelia Blatt; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Helena was a retired registered nurse for over 32 years and touched many lives with her caring and kind heart. She was a gifted artist who could express beauty and life through her exquisite works. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and everyone's life she blessed. Cremation has taken place, as per her wishes; there will be a private family memorial in the mountains. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Association and/or the Humane Society. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. 343-8008.
