Barratt -- Gilbert Barratt, 56, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 10, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Linda Barratt of Tijeras; his daughter and son-in-law, Kerri and Amadeo Sanchez of Tijeras; two beautiful granddaughters; two sisters, MaryLee McCue and Helen Jensen of Rhode Island; in-laws, Harold and Mary Palmateer of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Karen Boman of Albuquerque and Janet Temple of California; brother-in-law, John Palmateer of Rhode Island; and many, many nieces, great-nieces; nephews and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tami Lynne Barratt; and his mother and father, Lena Bush and Albert Barratt. Gil was born and raised in Rhode Island and after marrying, lived in California before coming to Albuquerque in 1990. He will be missed by family and friends, many of whom he met during his years in apartment maintenance. Although he was loved, we are comforted by the knowledge that he no longer is suffering from diabetes and has been reunited with his daughter in Heaven. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus in Paradise Hills. All who knew and loved him are invited to attend and share in the memories of his life.
