Sheridan -- James Ralph Sheridan, age 66, passed away April 16, 2002, a resident here 28 years. Mr. Sheridan was a well-known General Contractor and custom cabinetmaker. He is survived by his wife, Renate; one son, James R. Sheridan, Jr.; three daughters, Cathy Shisler and husband, Mark, Julie Miller and husband, James, Melissa R. Sheridan-Papas; step-children, Mario Gridley, Candie Borg; four sisters, Delores Dodge and husband, Ronald, Fran Kubinski and husband, Ralph, Ann Fowler and husband, Rick, Helen Ruth Rutherford; five grandchildren, Aaron and Adam Sheridan, Ryan and Kelly Sheridan and Lois James Papas. She is preceded in death by siblings, Charles Sheridan, Margaret Bulloch, Catherine Hansen, Carl Eugene Sheridan; and her parents, Thomas and Effie Sheridan. Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2002 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
