Johnston -- Ada F. Johnston, 89, a longtime resident of Martinez, CA died in Albuquerque, Friday, April 12, 2002. She is survived by; her daughters, Anita Sergent and husband, Michael Sergent of Moriarty, Ann McKay of Fresno, CA, and Arlene Tugel of Las Cruces; grandson, Ryan Sergent of Moriarty; granddaughters, Jessica Sergent of Durango, CO, Becky McKay of Austin, TX, Jenny McKay and Tricia McKay; grandson, Kevin McKay and wife Patricia; great-grandson, Christian McKay, all of Fresno CA; brother, Lou Ferry of Lafayette, CA; sisters, Marguerite Antonucci of El Cerrito, CA and Elizabeth Skarlanic of Oakley, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo C. Johnston in 1997. Ada touched many hearts during her long life and will be dearly missed. Mass was celebrated Friday, April 19, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at St. Catherine's Church in Martinez, CA, followed by burial at Oakmount Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd., Lafayette, CA.
