Lortz -- Rocci E. Lortz, 45, a resident of Bosque Farms, died on Sunday, May 5, 2002 as a result of his motorcycle colliding with a car on Hwy 47 in Tome. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and of the Valencia Valley Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Helen; her son, Robert Jones and wife, Carmen and their three children, Anitra, Robert and Thomas all of Albuquerque; his daughter, Shawnna Valenzuela and husband, Richard and their three children, Aleman, Ivar, and Anastacia all of Sierra Vista, Arizona; his daughter, Rocci Benevidez of Peralta, New Mexico; his mother and step-father, Jim and Ida Lou Capo of Albuquerque; his brother, Ricci Lortz and his two children, Robert and Ricci all of Hemet, California. A motorcade of motorcycles will leave Riverside Funeral Home in Belen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening, May 10, 2002 to proceed to the Valencia Valley Church of the Nazarene located at 33 El Cerro Rd. in Los Lunas where visitation will be held between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with Services to begin at 7:30 p.m. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Terrace Grove Cemetery 1200 W. Aragon in Belen. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home in Belen.
