Crouch -- Marjorie W. Crouch, age 93, passed away quietly in her sleep at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village on Wednesday, May 8, 2002. Marjorie was born on October 17, 1908 in Honey Grove, Texas to Florence Linder Zinser and William Garrett Waltermire. Marjorie had two brothers, Everett and Franklin. The family moved to Peoria, IL in 1921 where she later met her husband of 42 years, Elbert Joseph Crouch. They lived most of their married life in Chillicothe, IL with their three children, Bruce Alan, Mark Eugene, and Linda Ruth. Later in life, Marjorie lived near her children in Loveland, CO, Memphis, TN and Albuquerque, NM. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Ruth Crouch Young of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren, Amy J. Young, Eureka, IL, Sara E.Young Milliken, Charleston, SC, Debra M.Young Byrd, Auburn, AL, Matthew P. Crouch, Denver, CO, Elizabeth L.Crouch, Seattle, WA; and other family and friends who will miss her. Her husband; two sons; and two brothers preceded her in death. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2002, 4:00 p.m., at New Life Presbyterian Church, 5540 Eubank Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the New Life Presbyterian Church Memorial Music Fund. Condolences may be mailed to the family at 9205 Academy Hills Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Cremains will be interred at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge, IL. The family wishes to thank caregivers at Manzano Del Sol and friends and family for their care and support.
