Romo -- Rosa"Roti" Romo passed away on Friday, May 10, 2002. Rosa was born in Santa Rosa, NM and was a resident of Santa Fe, NM and recently of Albuquerque. She is survived by her daughter, Gina Romo-Vialpando; her three grandchildren, Larry Jr., Christina and Ryan; and former son-in-law, Larry Sr., who was always like a son to her. Cremation has taken place. Rosary will be Friday, May 17th, 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Risen Savior recited by Ricardo Chavez. Mass will be held at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. on Saturday, May 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m., Father Doug Mitchell presiding. Music by Eddie Gonzales. The family of Roti Romo wish to thank the following: Dr. Vivian Gudice, Dr. William Jacob, Dr. William Zolin and their staff at St. Joseph's Hospital; Jean Duncan, RN, Sandia Hospice; and Sandia Hospice Pharmacy for their service, help and care they gave our dear Grando and mother, Rosa Romo, in her last days. We also offer special thanks to all of Rose and Gina's, many loving and caring friends, family and co-workers at UNM who were always there for her and the family.
