Elliott -- Euleta J. Elliottt was born on June 30, 1908 to Clinton and Maude Tumblin in Wymore, NE and passed away on May 13, 2002 in Belen, NM. She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Sioux Falls, SD, a past president of the Rebekah Lodge in Deadwood, SD, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belen. She married her beloved Charles E. Elliott in June 8, 1925 and was preceded in death by him in 1984; her parents, Clinton Tumblin and Maude Brown; two brothers, and one sister, her daughter, Treva Jerane Elliott, and a son, James Elliott. She is survived by two daughters, Beverley Hunt and her husband, Robert of Omaha, NE; and Shirley Lindsay of Belen; one daughter-in-law, Rita Elliott of Reno, NV; two grandsons; five granddaughters; eleven great-grandchildren; and two step great-granddaughters. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Belen with Pastor Ed Wicklein officiating. Interment will take place in Blue Springs, NE. The family request memorials may be directed to the Building Fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Belen. The family invites all of Leta's friends to join them for a light lunch at the Vista del Rio Mobile Home Park Clubhouse following the funeral service. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N.
