Dominguez -- Eliza Dominguez, 90, went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2002 at 8:53 p.m. at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on August 12, 1911. Eliza was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the Sacred Heart Alter Society, Legion Of Mary and served in the Barelas Community for many years. She is survived by her son J. Charles Dominguez; daughter Gloria Dominguez Williams; grandsons, Dominic Williams and Aaron Dominguez and friend, Christine Chavez; niece, Aurora Hughes; grand-nieces, Emilie Jean Chavez and Linda Ware and husband, Frank all of Albuquerque; great-niece, Michelle; great-nephews, David Chavez, Desi Chavez and Nicholas Martinez, nephew Joe Aragon and wife, Concha; niece, Ramona Maestas of Las Vegas, NM. Eliza will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitations will be on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited following at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Dominguez, Dominic Williams, David Chavez, Nicholas Martinez, Victor Garcia and Frank Ware. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Bogdan and Benny Chavez. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
