Bamforth -- John"Bammer" Bamforth Jr., 41, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, May 12, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Bamforth of Albuquerque; sons, John Bamforth III of Portales, Scott Bamforth and Bryan Faifer, both of Albuquerque; parents, John Sr. and Ann Bamforth of Georgetown, DE; brother, Tim Bamforth and wife, Monique of Rehoboth Beach, DE and nephews, Ben and Jake; brother, Chris Bamforth; and sister, Heather Bamforth, both of Georgetown, DE. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy. Mr. Bamforth loved playing softball and basketball with his friends. He also enjoyed hosting tailgate parties, pool parties and backyard barbecues. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at 7:00 p.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 16, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at the church, with Father Doug Mitchell, Celebrant. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
