Boyden -- George Stuart Boyden, Jr., 31, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, May 16, 2002. He is survived by his parents, George and Tooey Boyden; brothers, Christopher James Boyden and wife, Jennifer and Michael Lanning Boyden; nephew, Hunter James Boyden; niece, Hannah Brooke Boyden; paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. George M. Boyden all of Albuquerque; aunts and uncles, Barbara and Alan Walters of Plano, TX, Ann and Rex Smith of Einbeck, Germany, and Tom and Lila Boyden of Spokane, WA; cousins, Kevin and Whitney Walters, Tami Kreutzbender, Blythe Pongracz, Ashley and Nick Boyden; and also his dog Kitty. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lt. Col. and Mrs. George R. Lanning, uncle, George Richard Lanning III, and best friend Rob Chavez. George graduated from Eldorado High School in 1989, received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNM in 1993 and was currently pursuing a degree in Education and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. As a member of Troop #444, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He gained engineering experience in the aerial ropeway industry while employed at the Sandia Peak Tramway and Von Roll Tramways. George 92s passion was skiing. He was a member of the UNM ski team and was currently coaching the Sandia Peak Ski Team. George is also survived by many, many loving friends of whom the family would like to thank for their love and support. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2002, at 2:00 p.m., at Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE.
