Kniffin -- Nathan J. Kniffin, 67, a resident of Los Lunas passed away on June 8, 2002. Mr. Kniffin is the beloved husband of 27 years to Mrs. Rosarito Kniffin. Mr. Kniffin is also survived by four children, Lori Kilbourne and husband, Michael, Vincent Kniffin, Claudia Leverenz and husband, Robert and Carla Kniffin; one sister, Jane Heinecke-Hammerstrom and husband, Roland; and one grandson, Devin Leverenz. Mr. Kniffin was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army and Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. A Rosary was recited Wednesday evening at the Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 2150 Raymac SW at 7:00 p.m. by Jaime and Anna Villegas. A final visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Edmund Savilla and Father Anthony Bolman. Interment of the cremains will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
