Foy -- Martha Jean Foy, 69, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM since 1972, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 15, 2002 after a long illness. She was born and raised in Brownton, WV and later graduated from Philippi High School in Philippi, WV. Martha completed her nurses training at Union Protestant Hospital in Clarksburg, WV and was a registered nurse for over 28 years. Martha practiced her profession in various US cities and overseas medical facilities, proudly accompanying her husband who served with the United States Air Force. In 1982, Martha decided to retire after ten years of faithful service in Albuquerque, NM, due to her illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence W. and Mary Koziar Charlton. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Claude; two sons, Edward and his wife, Dara of Macon, GA, and Michael and his wife, Cheryl of Peralta, NM; her daughter, Pam Tenbroeck of Red River, NM; four grandsons, Michael Tenbroeck; Randall, Travis, and Hayden Foy; two granddaughters, Ashley and Simone Foy; two sisters, Beatrice Callison and Julia Ann Stewart; and three brothers, Bill, Carl, and Randal Charlton. Martha's dedication and compassion touched the lives of family, friends and patients across the world. She will be truly missed, never forgotten. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home with a Funeral Service on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will then take place with burial at a later date.
