Beeler -- Clyde V. Burns Beeler, 96, a resident of Aztec, NM, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at home, after a lengthy illness associated with a stroke. She was born May 19, 1906 in Quanah, TX, the daughter of William and Mary Youngblood. Clyde lived in Aztec for 20 years and then moved to Albuquerque, where she lived until 1998 when she returned to Farmington. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Burns in 1966 and Clyde A. Beeler in 1990; daughter, Fay Reese; and her seven siblings. Clyde is survived by three children, Eugene Burns and wife, Marg of Carney, OK, Lyle Burns and wife, Polly of Albuquerque and Lyla Atkinson and husband, Blaine of Farmington; ten precious grandchildren; 22 lovely great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Her granddaughter, Rhonda Johanson, cared for Clyde in her home during the last two years of her life. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday, 1:00 p.m. to service time.
