Richardson -- J. W."Bill" Richardson, 77, died Sunday, June 30, 2002. Bill was born in Memphis, TN on September 29, 1924. He graduated from high school in Little Rock, AR and served in WWII in the Navy as a tail gunner on PBY. Bill attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and moved to Albuquerque in 1963. He was a member of the Ducks Unlimited Albuquerque Chapter and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bill served as an Election Judge in Albuquerque for many years and was a longtime local businessman. Bill is survived by his step-daughter, Melanie Palmer and husband, George Murphy of Austin, TX; son, James Francis and wife, Sherri, of Dallas, TX; and several grandchildren. Services will be held Monday, July 8, 2002, at 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E, with Pastor Sebastian Frappier officiating. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE
