Cherubini -- Francesco Cherubini, born on January 12, 1898 in Italy, passed away on July 8, 2002 in Albuquerque, NM. Papa, as he was affectionately called, is survived by his wife, of 78 years, Elena; three daughters, Verlene Slease, Celeste Cherubini, and Angelina Milkovich and her husband, Edward Milkovich, as well as by eight grandchildren and spouses; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many other family and friends. A Rosary will be recited, Wednesday, July 10, 2002, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary-Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 11, 2002, 9:00 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Father Richard Olona, Celebrant. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wednesday, July 11, 2002 one hour prior to Rosary.
