Patterson -- Doodye Maude Patterson. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2002 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Doodye Maude Patterson, age 72, of Roswell who passed away on July 9, 2002 in Albuquerque. Rev. Eileen Utton of First United Methodist Church will officiate with burial at South Park Cemetery. Doodye was born December 7, 1929 to Marlin and Portia Benjamin Wilkey. They have preceded her in death. Doodye married Richard Patterson on February 18, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM. He survives her at the family home. She is also survived by her son, Stephen Patterson and wife, Cheryl of Roswell and her daughter, Cynthia Torrez and her husband, Marty also of Roswell. She had four grandchildren, Priscilla Torrez, Sara Torrez, Wayne Gluff and Curtis Gluff. Pallbearers will be Terry Edwards, Mathew Torrez, Larry Torrez, Hank Pearson, Wayne Gluff and Curtis Gluff. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Benson and Doug French. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 83201, Albuquerque, NM. Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
