Lucero -- Mr. Patrick K. Lucero, 81, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 25, 2002, peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family.� Mr. Lucero is the beloved husband of 49 years to Mrs. Margaret Lucero. Mr. Lucero is also survived by his five daughters, Liz Thorn and husband, Jerry, Helen, Patricia, Loretta, Gloria Baca and Kelly Ann; seven sons, Kelly, Patrick, Carl and Anthony Lucero, Leroy, Jimmy and Steve Padilla; three brothers, Bill Lucero, Leo Lucero and wife, Frances and Art Lucero; 28 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Lucero was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. A visitation for Mr. Lucero will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW. A final viewing will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Communion Service to be held at 9:00 a.m. by Deacon Robert Paiz. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with honors.� Pallbearers will be, Art Ortega, Chad Lucero, Jayme Sanchez, Jerry Thorn, Sammy Padilla, Roy Padilla and Steve Padilla Jr. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.
