Calderon -- Mrs. Lupe G. Calderdon died Thursday, August 29, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 84. Mrs. Calderon is survived by her husband, Alfonso M. Calderon; grandchildren, Debbie Romero and husband, Jose Luis, Raymond Mark Tapia and wife, Anna, and David Tapia; great-grandchildren, Lisa Magdaleno and husband, Rudy, Tina Martinez, Mitchell Martinez, Monique Tapia and Alejandra Tapia; and great-great-grandchildren, Mario, Debra, James, Nikki, Hannibal, Adrien and Mitchell Jr. Funeral Services for Mrs. Calderon will be held on Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leeroy Saavedra, Joseph Gonzales, Irineo Villegas, Lorenzo Sauceda, Eloy Candelaria and Lalo Ramirez. Visitation for Mrs. Calderon will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Salazar & Sons Mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Church. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
