Hanselmann -- Stephen (Steve) Fredrick Hanselmann passed away of viral pneumonia on September 4, 2002 in Columbia, MO where he was attending the University of MO. Born, July 31, 1970, Steve grew up in Corrales, NM, attended Cibola High School and assisted with his family's business, Hanselmann Pottery. He received his Associates degree in computer science from University of Missouri at Trenton. A Memorial Service was held in Chillicothe, MO on September 11, 2002. The ashes will be scattered by family and friends in Howard, Colorado on Sunday, September 15, 2002. Steve is survived by his parents Joan and Fred, brothers, Mike and Jeff and their families, maternal grandmother, Catherine Abbott and paternal grandmother Vera Hanselmann. In lieu of flowers, donations are being sent to the NM Adaptive Ski Program, a learn to ski program for people with physical and mental disabilities. A kids Bi-ski will be purchased in his name.
