Rothstein -- Sara Pies Rothstein, age 81, and a lifelong resident of Rochester, NY died September 25, 2002 in Edgewood, NM. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Harold; daughters, Sharon Rothstein-Pirozzi and husband, James of Edgewood, NM, Deborah Rothstein-Vestal Clark and husband, Charles of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Hillary Brown Fletcher and Jeremy Brown; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Sara was a Benefactor of the Jewish Home in Rochester, NY. Graveside Services and interment will be held Friday, September 27, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Home of Rochester, United Nations Children's Fund or Vista Care Hospice of Albuquerque. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE is handling the arrangements.
