Naranjo -- William J. Naranjo, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 25, 2002. He is survived by his daughter, Lili Marlaine Naranjo; son, John M. Naranjo and wife, Marie; two grandchildren, Lynn Eve Otero and Lou Ella Naranjo; two great-grandsons, Johnathan Otero and Marcus Otero; half-brother, Mark G. Robertson; and half-sister, Mary Etta Winters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Naranjo. William was born in Shiprock, NM on March 9, 1912. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Cathedral High School in Gallup, Class of 1930. Mr. Naranjo served in WWII with the 45th Infantry Division, being wounded in Sicily in 1943. He worked for the B.I.A. at Ft. Wingate, NM as Plant Manager for 40 years. Mr. Naranjo moved to Albuquerque in 1988 and for the last three years had resided at Carestone Assisted Living Center. He was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Chapel and the Disabled American Veterans. Rosary will be recited Sunday, September 29, 2002, at 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 30, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Angels Catholic Chapel, I-40 & 12th NW. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Sunday, September 29, 2002, from 3:00 p.m. until time of rosary.
