Poitra -- Warren Poitra, 76, passed away September 29, 2002. He served in Korea in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant and worked many years for his good friend, Johnny Barberi who owns Cork and Bottle Liquor Store. Warren was preceded in death by his only daughter, Renee and is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mary Poitra; three grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia, Gloria, and Lucy; brothers, Lawrence, Gilbert, Leon, Frank, other family and friends who will miss him. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services on Thursday, October 3, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
