Boyer -- Sylvia Rose Boyer, age 62, beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother was called home to be with the Lord, after a long illness on Friday, September 27, 2002. Boyer resided in New Mexico, and was as well a long time resident of Hawaii. She is survived by George Boyer, her husband of 42 years; and her three children, Earl R. Boyer and wife, Sue of New York, Charlene M. Johnson and husband, Jerry of Colorado and Tammy L. Dearth and husband, Jeffrey of Indiana; as well as 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sylvia will be missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Sylvia lived her life to the fullest through her family and numerous friends. A memorial service is planned for Friday, October 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW #401, 2011 Girard Blvd. SE. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mrs. Boyer. (891-8200)
