Tate -- Geraldine (Jeri) Bocklaman Tate passed away on September 27, 2002 following a lengthy illness. Jeri was born on a farm in Ionia, Missouri on February 28, 1918. She moved to New Mexico with her husband, Jack, in 1956. For a number of years, Jeri was associated with Homecare Homemakers. Jeri enjoyed cooking and caring for others. She had a tremendous amount of compassion for the sick and infirm. Jeri is survived by her son, Dean Hanning; daughters, Beverly Weing and Sue Harms; nine grandchildren; over a score of great-grandchildren; and her dear friend, Marvene Hubbs. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at the Towers Apartments, 5404 Montgomery, NE., Bldg. A.
