Sedillo -- Cipriano �Banjo� Sedillo, age 80, passed away October 4, 2002 at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque. He was born and lived in Albuquerque, served in the US Army during WWII, and was a lifetime member of the D.A.V and the American Legion. Cipriano was preceded in death by his mother, Sophie Sedillo and is survived by his companion of 35 years, Margaret Welch; her children, Linda Olguin and husband, Raymond, Kathy Welch, Terri Lynch and hsband, Tony, James Welch and wife, Michele, and Lyle Welch; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other family members, friends and acquaintances who will miss him. Graveside services will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 3:00pm. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, Albuquerque. 505-343-8008.
