Sells -- George N. Sells, age 92, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years died October 24, 2002. Survivors include daughters, Vicki Lynn Shinliver and husband, Dennis, Sandra McVey; grandchildren, Jean Luzer, David McVey, Dale McVey, Judie Ford, Greg Hammers, Stuart Shinliver; great-grandchildren, Ty Ford and Todd Ford. George was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Sells. George retired from AT & SF in 1975 after 39 years of service, he was a member of the following organizations, the Masonic Lodge #731 of Amarillo, the National Society of the Sons of American Revolution serving as current president of the NM society, the Albuquerque Knife and Fork Club, the Society of the War of 1812, Military Order of Loyal Legion U.S., American Railway Engineering Association, the VFW Post #15032, the Navy Seabee Veterans of America serving with the 118th Battalion, the Scottish Rite, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels as well as belonging to St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at St. Paul's Untied Methodist Church 9500 Constitution Ave. NE with Rev. Don Boren officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or the National Society of Sons of the Revolution. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE is handling his arrangements.
