Ellingson -- Edna E. Ellingson, age 80 and a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years died Thursday, October 24, 2002 at her home following a brief illness. Mrs. Ellingson is survived by her daughter, Sandra Ellingson Trimble of Sykesville, MD; her son, Andrew C. Ellingson Jr. and his wife, Charlotte, of Albuquerque; a sister, Alice Roetzel of Custer, SD; three grandchildren, Samuel and Stephen Trimble, and A.J. Ellingson; and one niece, Mary Bradeen of Black Hawk, SD. She was an active member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, Lew Wallace Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames XVII Century, Daughters of American Colonists, and the Continental Society of Daughters of Indian Wars. Mrs. Ellingson served as a registered nurse in the Army Nurses Corp during WWII. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 1, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 211 Jefferson NE with Pastor Harold T. Nilsson officiating. The family prefers that memorials be made to St. Timothy's. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE are in charge of arrangements.
