Leverette -- Thomas H. Leverette, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1998, died Thursday, November 7, 2002. He is survived by his son, Bob Leverette and wife, Billie of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Susan Davila of Placitas, Thomas Leverette of Dayton, OH, Nancy Patterson of Mesa, AZ and John Leverette of Albuquerque; and eight great-grandchildren, Mr. Leverette was born and raised in New Orleans, LA to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leverette. He graduated from college with an Associate Engineering Degree. Mr. Leverette married Helen Woods and they moved to Bogalusa, LA, where he worked for the local paper mill. After WWII began, Mr. Leverette began working for the federal government as a civil servant. During his 30 years of Civil Service, he participated in developing unique military equipment operational testing techniques that are still in use today. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Tuesday, November 12, 2002, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
