Ross -- Melvadyne Ross, 81, died peacefully in her sleep, Friday, November 15, 2002. Beloved daughter, sister, and mother,"Mel" as she was usually called, was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Born in Toledo, OH, December 23, 1920, she spent her childhood and young adult years in the Sheepshead Bay Neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. After her marriage in February of 1948, she left New York with her husband and his parents, moving to New Mexico in 1949. The next years of her life were spent in New Mexico until her death. She is survived by her son, Phillip M. Ross of Albuquerque; and brother, Ray Bagen of St. Petersburg, FL. The family would like to thank the staff of ManorCare Camino Vista for the wonderful care provided the last years of Melvadyne's life.
