Torrez -- Mrs. Dora C. Torrez, 79, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 9, 2002. Mrs. Torrez is the beloved mother to three daughters, Irene Maestas, Mabel Maldonado and Lorraine Torrez; seven sons, Magdaleno Torrez, Pete Torrez, George Torrez, Gilbert Torrez, Rick Torrez, Danny Torrez, and Fred Torrez; Mrs. Torrez is also survived by one sister, Mary Maestas; 31 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren and two on the way; two great-great grandchildren and two on the way; many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Torrez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00pm in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. Visitation will be after 6:30 p.m. at St. Edwins Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon J.O. Luna. A final visitation will be Thursday morning in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00am with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 8:30am at St. Edwins Catholic Church by Father Bill Sanchez. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Magdaleno Torrez, Fred Torrez, Rick Torrez, Ralph Maestas, Anthony Torrez and Felix Sanchez.
