Carpenter -- Frances R. Carpenter, 73, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2002. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers; and three grandsons. He is survived by his wife Ruth, of 53 years; daughter, Gladys McDonald and husband; son, Dr. Robert Carpenter; daughter, Heather Martinez and husband, Jerry; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and many nieces and nephews. He was a Naval Veteran, retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 38 years, then took care of the Sacristy of San Felipe De Neri church for nine years. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe De Neri Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at San Felipe De Neri Church. Pallbearers will be Robert Carpenter, Allen Templaton, Jerry Martinez, Danny Carpenter, Billy Kindell, and Rob Leutheuser. Services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
