Apodaca -- Mr. Vicente M. Apodaca, 86, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 14, 2001. Mr. Apodaca is survived by his loving children, Nancy Jaramillo and husband Alex, Fela Chavez, Sally Jaramillo, Ralph Apodaca and wife, Frances, Angie Apodaca, Isabel Torres and husband, Jose, Rosemary Romero, Vincent Apodaca Jr. and wife, Mary Helen, Betty Ann Montoya, Bernadette Apodaca-Coca, Benita Cebada and husband, Gerald, Nattie Lee Vijil and husband, Chris and Frankie Apodaca. He is also survived by one sister, Lilly Armijo; 30 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Apodaca. Mr. Apodaca was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary was recited Saturday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, Jose and Kathy Montano, reciting. A visitation will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Final visitation for Mr. Apodaca will be Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. A Communion Service will be held Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwins Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW. Deacon J.O. Luna, officiating. Interment will follow at the Los Padillas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his daughters, Nancy, Fela, Sally, Angie, Isabel, Rosemary, Betty Ann, Bernadette, Benita and Nattie Lee. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
