Hardy -- William J. Hardy, Jr. passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2001. William served his country during World War II in the US Army as a Lieutenant. He was Past Commander of the American Legion Post #250 in Hinsdale, Illinois. Bill was also a plastering contractor for many years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce L. Hardy; children, Kay Delfosse of Eastlake, OH, William J. Hardy III of Downers Grove, IL and Mary Jo Westerhorstmann and husband, Marc, of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren, Troy, Tanya, Katie, Eric, Steve, Lora and Kristin; and sisters, Carol, Phyllis, Jean, and Joan. William was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mary, and daughter in law, Alice. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at 12:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
