Pino -- Antonio G. Pino, age 96, went home to our Lord August 6, 01. He was born December , 1904 in San Acacio, New Mexico to Manuel Antonio and Cleofas Pino. He lived most of his life in Magdalena, New Mexico, moving to Albuquerque in 1965. Antonio was preceded in death by his wife, Louisa; son, Salvador; daughter, Mary Magdalene; daughter-in-law, Grego Pino; sons-in-law, Bacilio Gomez and Terry Biggs; and grandson, Bob Aragon. He is survived by four daughters, Esther Gomez, Josephine Biggs, Beulah Aragon and husband, Robert, Grace Aragon and husband, Roy; four sons, Paul and wife, Esther, Louis and wife, Mary Ellen, Jim Pino and Lana Hudson, and Sam Pino; 27 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; brothers, Ray Pino and Ricardo Pino and wife, Mary; sister, Chena Benavidez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Pino will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Salazar & Sons Mortuary chapel . A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, August 7, 01, at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 8, 01, at 10:00 a.m. Both Rosary and Mass will take place at Church of the Ascension at 2150 Raymac SW. Father Edmund Savilla, celebrant, Father John Conway, concelebrant, Robert Aragon, Deacon, and Roy Aragon, eulogy. Burial will take place at Pajarit o Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Pino, Christopher Pino, David Biggs, Steve Pino, Paul Giles and David Llamas. The family wishes to thank UNM Hospice, especially Glenda Vigil, who always made him smile.
