Serna -- Pablo Serna, 96, went home to the Lord on Thursday, January 25, 2001. Pablo was born June 10, 1904 in Arroyo, Colorado to Josefita and Placido Serna. He is preceded in death by his wife, Manuelita, and son, Julian Serna. He is survived by his children, Josie Serna, Robert Serna, Elsie Vigil, Mary Zamora and husband, Sal, and Hassie Serna; his grandson, Ruben Castillo and wife, Christine; and his Godson Gregorio Griego and wife, Carol. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitation will be held today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Garcia Mortuary, in the Chapel on 8th Street. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Church in Old Town. Final visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday Morning at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at San Felipe de Neri, with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Sal Zamora, Ruben Castillo, Santiago Serna, Anthony Aragon, Luis Garcia, and Sosteno Zamora. Funeral Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., SW. 243-5222.
