Romero -- Estefanita Romero, 93, went home to the lord on January 21, 2001. Estefanita is survived by her son, Frank Romero, Jr.; grandchildren, Francisco Romero, Orlando Romero, Tomas Romero, Sylvia Romero, and Ricardo Romero; great-grandchildren, Orlando Romero, Jr., Jacquiline Romero, Mariah Romero, and Sarah Rose Romero. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Rita"Ricardita" Maez, Pablita Hurtuado, Tillie Trujillo, Lolo Tapia, Junior Tapia, Mary Duran; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. today at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel on 8th Street. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. this evening, also at Garcia Mortuary. Final visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Francisco Romero, Orlando Romero, Tomas Romero, Ricardo Romero, Richard Trujillo and Orlando Romero. Jr. Honorary Casket bearers will be Orlando Samuel Romero, Guadalupe Tapia, Elarid Lolo Tapia, Kenneth Chavez, Adam Chavez, Randy Chavez and Tony Saiz.
