Marellanes -- Nora "Granny" Arellanes passed away January 18, 2001 at her home in McIntosh, NM. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and loved everybody. She is survived by Bentura Segura; six sons, Bonifacio Lovato, Freddie Gonzales, Arthur Mahboub, Johnny Arellanes, Mike Segura, and Eric Segura; five daughters, Diana Hernandez, Lorraine Ruelas, Pat Lovato, Jessie Roybal, and Frances Arellanes; 36 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2001, with burial following at Moriarty City Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
