Montoya -- Anna Bell Montoya, 50, passed away February 23, 2001, at her home, after a long battle with cancer. She retired from U.S. West in 1996, and was currently employed by TOSCO Corporation. Anna Bell enjoyed many physical activities, mainly hiking and biking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matildita (Lilly) Lopez and Fernandez Montoya, and is survived by her partner, Theresa Zidek; beloved sister, Elizabeth Montoya and her companion, Glenn Rossman; step-father, John B. Lopez; brothers, Gilbert Montoya and Robert Lopez. In addition she is survived by her very closest cousins, Betty Archibeque, Barbara Archibeque, Dorothy Nieto, and Michael Martinez, and in particular her most favorite aunt, Ruby Martinez who was there for her in every way throughout her life and especially during her illness. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2001.. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2001. A private burial of ashes will be conducted at a later time by the family.
