JARAMILLO -- Ruby Palestine (Crowder) Jaramillo passed away December 27, 2008. She was born and raised in Wildersville, Tennessee. Ruby is survived by her husband, Edward Benjamin Jaramillo of two years and her children; Ralph (Mike) Crowder and wife, Evawn, Patty Ruth Phillips and husband, Terry, and former daughter-in-law Tracy Crowder, grandchildren, James, John, Willie, Arlene, Jude, Casey, Angel Dawn, Matthew Jaramillo and wife Nadia, Jacob Jaramillo and four great-grandchildren. Ruby is preceded in death by a son; John Carlton and her first husband, Ralph Crowder. Ruby was a resident of Albuquerque for 23 years and was a member of the Catholic Church. She had many nieces, nephews, and friends that will truly miss her. Ruby's unconditional love will never be forgotten. Donations for funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Carlisle Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 10:45 a.m. at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Road, NE. JARAMILLO -- Elias Jaramillo, Sr., 82, a longtime resident of Bernalillo, NM went home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. He served and fought seven battles in the 94th Infantry Division of the US Army during World War II. He is survived by Alicia, his wife of 26 years; his son Elias Jr.; his grandchildren, Mathew & Tim Lucero, and Olivia Archuleta; his brothers, Felix Jaramillo, Frank Jaramillo Sr. and wife Rose; numerous nephews & nieces. Elias was preceded in death by brothers Frank & Joe, sisters Cordelia & Rosalie. Elias was born March 30, 1926 in Ojo Del Padre, Guadalupe, NM to Daniel & Clarita Jaramillo. Services will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2008; Rosary will be at 9:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo, NM. Elias will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Frank Jaramillo Jr., Lawrence Jaramillo, Joe Chavez, Joseph Chavez, Tim Lucero and Armando Ruiz. MIRANDA -- Dolores (Lola) Miranda beloved sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away peacefully December 21, 2008 after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Josephine Miranda; brother-in-law, Al Jaramillo; niece, Phyllis Jaramillo; and nephew Vincent James Tapia. Dolores is survived by her sisters, Lupe Jaramillo and Carmen Lovato; nephew, Anthony Lovato; niece, Tanya Lovato; nephew, Todd Lovato his wife, Monica; Great Niece Jessica Maestas; Hailey Ann Lovato; special cousins, Frank Carillo his wife Tina; Tony Miranda his wife, Bella; two aunts and numerous cousins. Dolores enjoyed life to the fullest embracing all that crossed her path, with her beautiful smile and compassion. She also loved to sing and dance to Mariachi music. She loved to garden. Dolores had a loving heart for her family and was there for everyone in their time of need. She will be greatly missed, but we will always love her and she will be in our hearts forever. We love you quiera Hermana y Tia! A Rosary for Dolores will be recited on Sunday evening, December 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Jaramillo and Gilbert Vallejos; sisters, Connie and husband, Frank Lucero, Deborah and husband, Paul Trujillo; brothers, Michael and Peter Padilla; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
