Bell -- Harry Ernest Bell, 75, passed away January 28, 2001. A longtime resident of Albuquerque, he worked at Sandia Base and Nevada Test Site. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Bell; sons, Russell A. Bell, Carl D. Bell and wife, Lin, Randall E. Bell, Donald N. Bell and wife, Joyce; daughter, Marie E. Bell; numerous grandchildren; brother, Burton Bell; and other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. Bradley -- Kenneth Bradley, 71, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away January 5, 2001. He was born January 2, 1930 in Mitchell Dam, Alabama and resided in Decatur, AL. He was a police officer with NASA, and a Veteran of U.S. Army, stationed at Ft. Monmouth, NJ and at Red Stone, AL. His wife, June Bradley, preceded him in death on October 2, 2000. He is survived by children, John Bradley and wife, Linda, Robert, Rebecca Stewart and husband, Lloyd and Brenda; four grandchildren, Maria, Christopher, Kevin and Kenny; and one brother, Wallace Bradley of Fair Hope, AL. Carroll -- John W. ¯Jake¯ Carroll, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 42 years, died on Sunday, January 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Katherine B. Carroll; daughters, Margie K. Carroll of Canton, GA and Janey Carroll of Albuquerque; sisters, Betty Murdock and husband, Ed of Houston, TX and Charlotte Smithmier and husband, Claude of Canton, GA; sister-in-law, Marian Carroll of Stone Mountain, GA; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and golfing buddies. Jake was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Verlin Carroll, brother, James E. Carroll and daughter, Barbara Ann Carroll. He attended Emory University and graduated from University of Houston. Jake worked with the U.S. Corp. of engineers during WWII and then went to work with Shell Oil Company for 12 years. He then worked at Sandia National Lab until retiring in 1983. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2001, 3:00 p.m. at Sombre del Monte Christian Church, 2528 Utah N.E. with Rev. Claude Smithmier, officiating. Davis -- Evelyn W. Davis, 89, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died on Monday, January 29, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Claude E. Davis; sons, Thomas E. Davis and wife, Glenda, Don T. Davis and Jim A. Davis and wife, Linda all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Bryan Davis and wife, Stephanie, John T. Davis and wife, Lorrie, Chad E. Davis and Cathy Davis West and husband, Clint and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Donald. Evelyn was a faithful member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church where her husband served on the board of Elders, Services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2001, 4:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E., with Pastor Chris Lieberman, officiating. Burial to take place in Oklahoma.

Dennis -- Frances E. Dennis, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 43 years, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2001. She is survived by her son, William R. Dennis and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; and brother-in-law, Joe Dennis and wife of Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Z. Dennis; father, Hans Kohncke; mother, Della Kohncke; and brothers, William Kohncke and Robert Kohncke and his wife, Louise. Mrs. Dennis was a member of the Albuquerque Progress Women¯s Club, and a member of the Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed many hobbies, one of which was oil painting. She attended Normal College in Bloomington, IL and taught elementary school. Mrs. Dennis later taught business school at Draughon¯s Business College in Albuquerque. When she retired, she was employed by the New Mexico Department of Social Services as a case worker. Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Joyce Lieberman officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednedsay, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Ferguson -- Ms. Joann Ferguson, 47, of Tuckerton, NJ died Monday, January 29, 2001 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin, NJ. She worked as a registered nurse for 27 years, most recently with Hospice. She was a volunteer worker for the Tuckerton, NJ. Seaport and was a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, born in Morristown, NJ she resided in Madison, and moved to Albuquerque, NM residing there for 27 years. She moved to Tuckerton, NJ one year ago. She is survived by her daughter, Caliann Ferguson, Tuckerton; father, William H. Ferguson, Tuckerton; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Barbara Ferguson, Blairstown and brother and sister-in-law, William H. Jr. and Polly Ferguson, Jefferson, sister and brother-in-law, Noreen and Mostafa Mostafa Smithville, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church, Tuckerton, NJ. Garrett -- Virginia Lea "Ginny" Garrett, age 79, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2001. A long time resident of Albuquerque, she was born in Jacksonville, IL on February 11, 1921. Survivors include her two sons, Mike Garrett, and wife, Jackie, of Albuquerque, and Joe Garrett and wife, Betty of Lewisville, TX; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Ann Hernandez of Batavia, IL. Mrs. Garrett was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church where private Memorial Services were held. Gonsey -- James William Gonsey, 53, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, January 27, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Gonsey of Albuquerque; mother, Mary Damo; sister, Diana Hessel, both of Missouri; and brother, Kenneth Flynn of Arkansas. Mr. Gonsey was a great animal lover; and along with his wife, was involved in rescuing German Shepherd dogs. Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 1, 2001, at 6:30 p.m., at Mt. Hertford -- Matilda Hertford, a resident of Albuquerque for nearly 40 years, died Friday, January 26, 2001. She was preceded in death by her first husband, C.J. Crowley and her second husband, Kenner Hertford. Matilda is survived by son, Neal and his wife, Daisy, of Arlington, VA, son, Michael and his wife, Lia, of Houston, TX; daughter, Patricia, of Miami, FL; and son, Paul, of Port Arthur, TX; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank her many friends and neighbors who helped her in the last years of her life. And thanks to the kind and loving people of Harmony House and the Anna Kaseman Hospice unit who showed such love and respect during her final days. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Joseph's Drive NW, on Thursday, February 1, 2001 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Matilda's name to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice, 8100 Constitution NE, Suite 120, 87110. Little -- Goldie W. Little passed peacefully in her daughter¯s home in Santa Fe on 29 January 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn; and her son, Richard; as well as two sisters; three grandsons; three great-grandsons, and a great-granddaughter. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Herbert, her son, Robert, two sisters, and a brother. Goldie was a native of New Mexico, born in Lordsburg on 23 May 1916. She was a long-time resident of Albuquerque and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. Goldie was laid to rest in the Little family plot at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Albuquerque on 30 January in a private graveside ceremony. Donations in Goldie¯s name can be made to the Robert L.
