Milyko -- Alexander Busch Milyko, 72, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2002. Moeller -- Richard B. Moeller, 55, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Ben and Dorothy Moeller of Albuquerque; uncle, Bill Moeller and wife, Saranna of Refugio, TX; aunts, Rosemary Delaurier of Victoria, TX and Ruth Hunt of Blessing, TX; and many friends and business associates. Mr. Moeller was an architect. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Myers -- Mae Beth Myers, 75, a native of Albuquerque, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Victor V, Myers of Albuquerque, her daughters, Vee Ann Miller and Vicki Dru Fraker of Denver, CO, and her son, Mark Steven Myers of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Dylan of Arizona and Jordan, Bethany, Jonathan and Anna, all of Colorado. Beth had a deep faith in Christ, and lived a life of service to others. She served in the Stephen Ministry, reaching people in crisis, through Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was a member. She ministered to women through Bible Study Fellowship for over 25 years. Beth loved children and was a gifted teacher. She helped found the early childhood program at East San Jose School and La Mesa Presbyterian Church Little School, where she touched many young lives. She graduated from Albuquerque High School and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of New Mexico. She was active in the National Association for the Education of Young Children. A memorial celebration of her life and service to the Lord will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at Academy and Moon NE. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Sanchez -- Amalia Sena Sanchez, 109, one of Santa Fe's Living Treasures, passed away peacfully at her home October 16, 2002. She was born in Los Lunas December 8, 1892. As a child she was raised in Santa Fe's historic Sena Plaza, which was built by her grandfather. She was always an activist. As early as 1914 she was helping to sell lemonade on the Plaza to fund the first Santa Fe Public Library. In 1927 she was elected Santa Fe's first Fiesta Queen. She enjoyed a life rich in experience and events, and gave of herself unstingily first to her family and church, then to the community and the many who crossed her path. She was predeceased by her husband, Manuel A. Sanchez in 1970; her son, Manuel P."Pat" Sanchez in 1996; and her daughter, Juanita Sena in 1999. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Isabel Hoffman of Santa Fe; her son, Jose M. Sanchez and wife, Carol of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law, Jane Sanchez of Albuquerque; son-in-law, Claude Sena of Santa Fe; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2002 at McGee Memorial Chapel followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 21, 2002 at St. Francis Cathedral 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Carmelite Ministry or the Santa Fe Public Library.

Tafoya -- Eloisa Martha Tafoya, 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born November 29, 1926 to Melquiades and Guadalupe (Gallegos) Romero in Vernon, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Diego Tafoya in 1989. She is survived by her sons, Patrick J. Tafoya of Socorro, NM and John J. Tafoya of Albuquerque; daughters, Guadalupe M. Tafoya-Vigil and husband, Joseph F. of Las Vegas, NM and Sandra I. Tafoya-Teets and husband, Thomas M. of Nashua, NH; brother, Melquiades D. Romero of Sterling, MA; sister, Mary Elizabeth Lopez of Albuquerque; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Rosary was recited on Thursday, October 17, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John Daniel as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers are James R. Vigil, Michael Lopez, Vidal Martinez, Tommy Trujillo, Mark Lopez and Jacob Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearers are Joseph F. Tavasci -- Ernest J Tavasci, 83, a life long resident of Albuquerque passed away October 16, 2002. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a World War II Veteran and retired from Sandia Labs after 30 years of service. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Cleo Tavasci of the family home; his precious children, Albert Tavasci, Vangie Tavasci-Arellano and husband, Paul Arellano; grandchildren Yvette Arellano, Gina Arellano, Zemina Tavasci, Albert Tavasci, Julian Tavasci; sister, Mary Herrman; brothers, Joe and Robert; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends; and his beloved dog Tasha Bear. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. A Rosary will be recited at Holy Rosary Church at 9:30 a.m., October 19, 2002, followed by funeral mass. Wilgus -- Final viewing and memorial service for Ramona Frances Wilgus, born Ramona Frances Puhuyesva, will be held at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, at 2401 12th Street NW on Friday, October 18, 2002. Services will include a Memorial Service from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. Patrons are requested to begin arriving at 6:00 p.m. in order to be seated by 6:30 p.m. Ramona was a dear friend to the community as she worked in the capacity of educator with an emphasis on those less fortunate. She was also noted as an artist, poet, and storyteller, as well as mother. She was born of Alfred and Daisy Puhuyesva, September 11, 1942, in Keams Canyon, Arizona, upon the Hopi Indian Reservation. Ramona chose to be registered Hopi, as her father was, but was also of Isleta heritage on her mother's side. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BA in education in 1965. The same year she was married to Neal Fredrick Wilgus and began her journey to Albuquerque. In the winter of 1978, she gave birth to her only son, Warren Asa Wilgus. Directly related survivors are her mother, Daisy; brother, Frank Puhuyesva; and her son, Warren. She was teacher, friend, companion and mother. She will be missed. Bowen -- Sam P. Bowen, 27, died in an accident on October 11, 2002 in Ao Nang, Krabi Province, Thailand. He is survived by his love, Christina Baxter Lloyd. Also surviving are his best friend and sister, Rachel Bowen; and mother, JoAnn Albrecht both of Albuquerque; his father, Joseph P. Bowen of Jakarta, Indonesia; his grandmothers, Marjorie Albrecht and Margaret Bowen; as well as other family and his many friends all over the world. Sam was born in Los Alamos, NM on September 8, 1975, attended school at the Jemez Bodhi Mandala, International School Manila, and graduated from Jakarta International School in 1993, Colorado College in 1997, and New World Teachers in 1999. Sam's many interests included travel, philosophy and language education. He was a gifted wood and metalworker, and would take his passion for snowboarding to any slopes he came across. Sam was widely traveled in his too short life, having studied and worked in Jemez Springs, The Philippines, Indonesia, Illinois, Colorado, San Francisco, Costa Rica, Japan, and Albuquerque. His desire to live life to the fullest took him on many adventures throughout the world. Sam was devoted to his family and friends, and to making the world a better place. Sam's body was put to rest in Thailand where his ashes were spread across the Andaman Sea. Friends and family will gather Sunday, October 20, 2002 at the home of his mother, 512 Carlisle NE from 1:00 p.m. through the afternoon. Charles -- Dorothy E. Rader Charles was born on September 28, 1903 in Mason City, IL. She has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1928. She died Tuesday, October 15, 2002 after a few months of illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jennie H. Elmore and John G. Elmore of Mason City, IL. Dorothy graduated from Mason City High School in 1922, attended Milikin College of Decatur, IL, graduating with a degree in music. She was a violinist, playing in the First Methodist Church Orchestra of Mason City, IL. She worked for the Central Illinois Public Service Company. She used her talent with the violin by playing in their orchestra, traveling all over Central Illinois. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Becky Kolb of Albuquerque; grandsons, Jerry Dean Rader and wife, Stacy of Abilene, TX, and Hugh Hazlewood of Orange, CA; granddaughters, Debra Rose of Ohio, Shaney Rader of Seattle, WA, and Deana Turner of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Michael and Lindsey Rader; and many great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy married Gale Rader who had two children, Dean and Marion Rader, in 1928 in Mason City, IL. Dorothy and Gale had one son, Jerry Gale Rader. They have all preceded her in death, including her sister, Margaret Schuppe and her brother, Ralph Elmore, both of Springfield, IL. Dorothy married Ralph Charles in 1970, who passed away in 1990. For the last several years, she has resided with her grandson, Jerry Dean Rader in Abilene, TX. Dorothy was a member of First United Methodist Church. She belonged to the Quester Sunday School Class, The Daughters of the Nile, Yucca Temple #74, Daughters of the American Revolution, Honored Ladies, a Life Member of Adah Chapter Eastern Star. Dorothy along with her family owned and operated Rader Awning in Albuquerque for many years. Services will be held Friday, October 18, 2002, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Ciferri -- Albert F. Ciferri, born February 19, 1932, to Conrad and Mary Ciferri, in New York City. Albert received a Christian Baptism September 11, 1938 at the Jefferson Park Parish Methodist Church in New York City. Albert was very active in the church and with the Boy Scouts, becoming an Eagle Scout and also a Scout Leader. On March 9, 1949, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp reserves and was Honorable Discharged October 1, 1951. He reenlisted in the U.S. Air Force December 28, 1951 and was Honorable Discharged September 15, 1953. He then went to Golden Colorado and worked for the Colorado School of Mines. Albert then felt the calling to reenlist with the U.S. Air Force from June 2, 1958 until his Honorable Discharge in April 21, 1960. He then moved back to Buffalo, NY, were he worked and met Marie L. Shardon. They married March 3, 1962, moved to New Mexico, bought a home, and became very active at St. Paul's Methodist Church. Albert worked for the original Frontier Air Lines for about 33 years. Marie passed away January 17, 1972, and Albert had married two other times. Al stayed active at the church until his illness started to take over in 1999 and worsen until his passing on October 9, 2002. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Conrad Ciferri; and sister, Eleanor. Albert is survived by his sister, Dawn Ciferri Gregory, of Colorado; three brothers, Gene Ciferri of Colorado, Frank Ciferri and John Ciferri both of Albuquerque. Albert loved his roses, and all types of gardening. He was also a photography buff. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 9500 Constitution Ave. NE, Sunday October 20, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place at Sante Fe National Cemetery.
