Tavasci -- Ernest J Tavasci, 83, a life long resident of Albuquerque passed away October 16, 2002. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a World War II Veteran and retired from Sandia Labs after 30 years of service. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Cleo Tavasci of the family home; his precious children, Albert Tavasci, Vangie Tavasci-Arellano and husband, Paul Arellano; grandchildren Yvette Arellano, Gina Arellano, Zemina Tavasci, Albert Tavasci, Julian Tavasci; sister, Mary Herrman; brothers, Joe and Robert; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends; and his beloved dog Tasha Bear. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. A Rosary will be recited at Holy Rosary Church at 9:30 a.m., October 19, 2002, followed by funeral mass.
