Grashoff -- William Henry Grashoff, formerly of Albuquerque, died on November 28, 2002 in Bellevue, Washington. He was 89. Mr. Grashoff was born on January 21, 1913 in New York City, the son of Hermann and Agnes Grashoff. He was raised in New York City and Staten Island. On April 15, 1939 he married Frieda Marie Edwards in New York City. He served in the United States Air Force from 1936 to 1965 and retired as a Lt. Col. at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. He and his wife lived in many states, Newfoundland, and France. After retirement, they lived in Albuquerque, until August 1998, when they moved to Redmond, Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Marie on April 2, 2000. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Williams, of Issaquah, WA, and Linda Milam, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; son, Peter Grashoff, of Longmont, Colorado; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Remembrances may be made to Hospice of Seattle, 425 Pontius Ave North, Suite 300, Seattle, Washington. Green -- Janis Green, 56, beloved wife, Mother, and NaNa, passed away peacefully November 30, 2002 following a courageous ten year battle with Scleroderma. Jan was born February 8, 1946 in Fonde, Kentucky to Bratcher and Lavada Wilder. In 1963 she married Gary in Michigan and together they raised three beautiful daughters. In 1980 they moved to Los Alamos where they resided until Gary's retirement. In 1998 they moved to Logan, NM to enjoy retirement in their house on the lake. NaNa was especially proud of her grandchildren, spending many good times teaching them about Jesus' love and the importance of being a family. She made an incredible difference in the lives of everyone who knew and loved her. Although Jan's illness slowly took over her body, it did not diminish her spirit. Her quiet strength was an inspiration to all. She touched the lives of so many people and will always be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes and smile. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavada Wilder; and a brother, Troy Edward. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Gary of Logan, NM; and three daughters, Dawn Gurule and husband, Michael, Jill Staveley and husband, Brian, and Kimberly Green and Dennis Martinez. Also surviving her are seven beautiful grandchildren, Jessica, Alyssa, and Natalee Gurule, Jordan and Danielle Staveley, and Vanessa and Kayla Martinez. In addition, Jan is survived by her father, Bratcher Wilder, and siblings; Onalee Henderson, Coy Wilder, Pauline Mays, Norma McCoy, Shirley Edds, and Thomas Wilder. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 and Thursday, December 5, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln.,Rio Rancho. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 7, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. with a Visitation one hour prior to the Service at the First Baptist Church in Logan, NM. Interment will follow in the Logan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Gurule, Brian Staveley, Edwin Bruhn, Delton Judd, James Carson, and Duel Paris. Hamilton -- Rickey"Johnny" Hamilton, 57, a resident of Corrales, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2002. Johnny was born July 14, 1945 the son of Woodrow and Edna Carter Hamilton in Normangee, Texas. He had worked for the Moriarty Public Schools before retiring. Johnny had served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He had moved to Corrales from Moriarty, New Mexico. Johnny was preceded in death by one sister, Sara-ut Hamilton in 1947. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Virginia Hamilton; two daughters, Rhonda O'Brian and husband, Edward of Albuquerque, and Jennifer Hamilton and husband, Anthony of Corrales; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Jordan Hamilton, his"special angels". Further survivors include brothers-in-law, Thomas, Willie, Greyson, and Franklin; and many cousins in Texas. Kezele -- John Kezele, 86, a resident of Albuquerque for 55 years, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at Camino Vista Manor Care. Services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Dock Livingston, Steve Starkovich, Gary Mesich, Terry Mesich, Floyde Kezele, Mike Kezele, Joe Mesich and Mark Hughs. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Mesich, Tony Mesich, Joe Moreno, Gary Allen, Charles Starkovich, Kevin Hughs, Edward De Armond and Bill Cooksey. John Kezele was born on October 25, 1916 in Gallup, New Mexico. He joined the U.S. Army in 1941 along with his six other brothers. His mother received the"Seven Star" award from the President of the United States. John married Helen Whitsett. He worked for the Gallup Mercantile, Valley Gold Dairies and Texaco service station. Lowry -- Jonathan Hamilton, died November 27, 2002. He was born September 24, 1955 in Baumholder, Germany. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose H. Lowry in 1997. Jonathan has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1994 and was a graduate of Wauwautosa East High School in Wisconsin. He served in the United States Marine Corp and graduated from US Air Traffic Controler School. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Wexler Lowry of Albuquerque; one daughter, Natlie C. Lowry of Utah; and by his special friend, Lucy Gonzales also from Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by one brother, Brian R. Lowry and Renai of St. Louis, Mo.; and one sister, Margo Lowry Stewart and Steve, of Lafayette, Co.; one nephew, Griffin Lowry; and one niece, Brienne Lowry, both from St. Louis, Mo.; in addition to many loving friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Sandia Funeral Care. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sandia, 7601 Wyoming Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM. Lucero -- Pat Lucero, Jr., age 95, born in New Mexico died November 30, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Lucero of Albuquerque; a daughter, Arlene Pao-aroon of Albuquerque; and sons, Edward Lucero and wife, Karen of Gallup, Gerald Lucero and wife, Linda of Kingman, Arizona, Tony Lucero and wife, Marie, Vincent Lucero and wife, Marie all of Albuquerque; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren also survive Pat. His son, Frederick Lucero, preceded him in death. Pat was a Barber for 50 years and owned the Court Barber Shop at Lomas and Old Town. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, December 5, 1:00 p.m. at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE, with Rev. Arkad Biczak officiating. Neri -- Nancy Neri, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Saturday, November 30, 2002. She is survived by her son, Gary Neri and wife, Deborah of Albuquerque; daughter, Elaine Pomar and companion, Henry Niski of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Andrea Kilmer and husband, Eric, Lisa Mendoza and husband, Ken, Leslie Neri, David Neri, Justin Pomar and fiancée, Crystal, all of Albuquerque Christopher Montalbano and wife, Carol of Pennsylvania and Priscilla Cornejo of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Kevin, Brianna, Nathan, Isaac, Autumn, Damion, Ryan, and Danny; brothers and sister, Louis Rendino, Steve Rendino, and Audrey Lompado, all of Long Island, NY. O'rourke -- Terrence Robert O'Rourke, 52, passed away at the VA Hospital on Saturday, November 30, 2002, surrounded by his loving family members. Terry was born in Albuquerque, and he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a plumber/pipe fitter, and was a member of Union Local #412. Terry was preceded in death by his father Jim O'Rourke and is survived by his mother, Eustelle O'Rourke; siblings Rose Ann Alexander and husband, David, Vincent O¯Rourke, Eileen Belmares and husband, Joe, Sheila Walker, Kevin O'Rourke and wife, Ann, Joe O'Rourke and Angie, Mary Kay O'Rourke, Theresa Hill and Tom, Dennis O¯Rourke, Patrick O¯Rourke, Rita Pecos and husband Joe; 19 nieces and nephews; two grand-nephews; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Salazar -- Lorella M. Salazar, age 77, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, November 30, 2002. Lorella was born February 7, 1925 to Tomas O. Montoya and Frances DeLao Montoya. Lorella is the last of the Montoya political dynasty -- Her brothers, Tom Montoya, State Representative Teddy Montoya, State Representative Alfonso Montoya, United States Senator Joseph M. Montoya; her sisters, Agneda Montoya and Virginia Chavez all preceded her in death. Lorella loved life and life loved Lorella. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lorella is survived by her son, Tom J. Salazar and his wife, Gail Salazar; her brother-in-law, Tony Chavez; her nephews, Patrick Montoya, Phil Montoya, Joe M. Montoya and Teo Montoya; her nieces, Alicia Montoya and Lynda Montoya-Haran. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, December 3, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo.
