Obituary for Grashoff

William Henry Grashoff, formerly of Albuquerque, died on November 28, 2002 in Bellevue, Washington. He was 89. Mr. Grashoff was born on January 21, 1913 in New York City, the son of Hermann and Agnes Grashoff. He was raised in New York City and Staten Island. On April 15, 1939 he married Frieda Marie Edwards in New York City. He served in the United States Air Force from 1936 to 1965 and retired as a Lt. Col. at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. He and his wife lived in many states, Newfoundland, and France. After retirement, they lived in Albuquerque, until August 1998, when they moved to Redmond, Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Marie on April 2, 2000. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Williams, of Issaquah, WA, and Linda Milam, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; son, Peter Grashoff, of Longmont, Colorado; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
