GUERIN -- MARY ALICE Age 84, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Bernalillo. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Jacqueline Dooley, Mary Theresa Schmelz, Michele Reddinger, Philip Guerin, Gregory Guerin, David Guerin, Loretta Krumback, and Patrick Guerin; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Josephine (Calef) Kelley. She enjoyed spending time with her family and they were her life. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 8, 2011, 7:00 p.m. at French - Wyoming Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 10, 2011, 11:00 a.m., in the chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. HARGER -- BOBBY J. Age 76, died peacefully Saturday September 3, 2011 after his struggle with cancer with his beloved wife, Sally of 31 years by his side. He is also survived by his two daughters, Glenda and Tonia; his only son, Brian Harger and wife Nancy; his special step-son Leonard, who he dearly loved; step-son, William Graham; step-daughter, Ermalinda Herrera and partner Pablo; sister-in-law, Ricki Harger; three brothers, Howard (Del) Harger and wife Hilda, Roland Harger and wife Connie, Wendell Harger and wife Carol, who we thank for all of their support; two sisters, Claudett Jackson, Brenda Shot, sister-in-law, Lucille Anstett and husband Joe; two special sisters-in-law who helped with his care, Jeannette Armijo and Rosemary Cannon; one special cousin, Consuelo Chavez, whom he loved dearly; many nieces; nephews; friends; and one kind, loving and generous cousin, Margaret Cannon and husband Harold. Our many, many, thanks to his wonderful Doctors, Dr. Binder and Staff, Dr. Fisher and Staff, Dr. Gopal and Staff, Dr. Gerencer and Staff, to all the wonderful Nurses for the love and care they gave him at Anna Kaseman Cancer Hospital, unit B and Unit A, he was loved by all of them and he loved them as well. His special nurse, Sara Ortega, Physical Therapist, Amanda and all his Social Workers. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels, Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; a second Visitation will also take place at Garcia Mortuary, Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Private Interment will follow. LUJAN -- AURORA Age 93, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, September 3, 2011. She was born July 8, 1918 to Jose and Josefita Lujan, in Escobosa, NM. Aurora loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Maldonado; mother, Josefita Lujan; her beloved husband, Roberto; son-in-law, Blas Baca, daughters-in-law, Mary Jane Lujan and Viola Lujan. Aurora is survived by her sons, Francisco Lujan and wife Rita, Gilbert Lujan and wife Corrine, Richard Lujan, Florenio Lujan, Bobby Lujan and wife Hope, Abran Lujan and wife Lilly, Leroy Lujan, Michael Lujan and wife Sally, Oliver Lujan and wife Gloria, Ralph Lujan, David Lujan and wife Linda, Mario Lujan and wife Mayela; daughters, Odilia Baca, Laura Romero and husband Raymond, Teledfor Lujan and husband Fern; 38 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Lucy Chavez and Elenore Hurtado and many other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. GOLDEN -- CAROL B. Died peacefully at home on Sept. 2, 2011, with her family and friends around her after a long and valiant struggle against cancer. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on May 5, 1942, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry; daughters, Jessica Golden Tolsky, of West Hills, Calif., and Phyllis Hoffman of Merrick, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law B. Michael and Cynthia Becker, of Dallas, Tex.; and grandsons, David, Reuven, and Ethan Hoffman and Andrew and Jeremy Tolsky. Carol received degrees in music and music education from the University of Minnesota and the University of Maryland. She taught choral music for 25 years in Montgomery County, Maryland, public schools and retired to Albuquerque 18 years, ago. She was the beloved director of the B'nai Israel choir for 18 years. The funeral will be held, graveside, at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd., SE, on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Rabbis Scott Hoffman and Arthur Flicker and Cantor Josh Perlman will officiate. VIGIL -- ANDREW M. Andrew M. Vigil, age 54, was taken from this world by the Holy Angels and into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on 8/30/11 after a valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Katherine Elena (Garcia), sons Anthony, Carlos and Kristopher. He is also survived by his parents Manuel and Virginia; siblings Walter (Sophie), Kenny (Sharon), Phillip (Roseanne), Kathy (Ross) Garcia, Debbie (David) Roybal, and Anna Vigil; many extended family members and dear friends. Andy was preceded in death by his previous wife, Cheryl. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gerald Parras, Robbie Ramirez, Rick Yost, George Ferris, Carlos Camacho, Robert Stallings, Troy Ortega, Andrew Pena, Javier Navarro, Bob Weber, and Erik Sacks, and Mark Villareal. Andy graduated from Espanola High School in 1975 and received his Bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico in 1979. Andy was employed in the grocery industry for 35 years and served most recently as the Vice President of Avanza Supermarkets for Nash Finch Corporation in Edina, MN. Andy was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. He touched many lives with his compassionate nature and generous heart, never turning down an opportunity to help anyone in need. A Rosary will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Dr. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. A Funeral Mass will follow at 9:00 a.m. A Reception will take place at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Hall, 5712 Paradise Blvd, NW Albuquerque, NM 87114 following the funeral mass.
